I am looking for a Robert Dunn, or Robert Fogle/Fogle, in Los Angeles in 1900. Robert was found in the 1860 US Census for Pa. as a 14 year old. The name of the Family he was with was named Dunn, however his name was Robert Fogel or Fogle. Also looking for the brother of Robert in 1900 LA. His name was Roman Fogel Dunn, according to the death certificate of his son Robert in 1934. He was shown as Roman B. Dunn in the 1870 Census. Roman was married to a woman named Carrie, but she may have been dead in 1900. Thanks

I am new to this list and I am not sure I have the correct one for information from Long Beach CA. Is this the correct site to look for a Long Beach obituary? Could someone help with the following. According to the CA Death Index Hedley Smyth died May 21, 1966, in Long Beach. He was born in Canada March 5, 1881. Would this obituary be in the LA Times or the Long Beach Press Telegram? Seeking information on Francis M. Sniff. Listed in the 1920 Census of Los Angeles Co.; death index shows death 17 Mar 1925 in Los Angeles, possibly Hollywood? Wife of Francis M. Sniff was Charlotte Drenann Sniff d. 2 Dec 1953. Wondering if they had children, none shown in 1920, but they could have been away at school by then. I am searching for any information on the descendants of Vera Buntin. She was the daughter of my grandfather, John Samuel Buntin, and his first wife. Have little information on Vera other than what I have been told by other family members. She was possibly born in Kentucky in the early 1900s. She became an actress of sorts in the early to late 30s. Had at least two children, 1 boy and 1 girl in the mid 30s to early 40s. Last known address was Hollywood, California in 1957. Thanks to our wonderful lady Deborah, she found my gr-grandmothers death cert, not only do we know the husband's name Frederick Hague but also her fathers name and mothers first name, Thank you Deborah Now this brings more questions, doesn't it always? she died on Delham Ave in West Los Angeles, I can not find this street anyway, Does anyone know if this ave has been renamed and where does West Los Angeles begin? Also she is buried in the Soldiers Home cemetery, Is this the National Cemetery? Can anyone be buried there, or is the Fred T. Hague buried there in 1919 my Gr-grandfather?
