    1. [CALOSANG] Seeking descendant of Marcella Meibergen & Cameron H. Duncan
    2. Judy Erickson
    3. Dear List, I am seeking contact info on descendants of  the above listed couple .  Marcella was from Oklahoma and was a friend of my Mother (1906 OK-1964 OK ).  In my Mother's scrapbook, there are pictures of Marcella and  her wedding invitation  to Cameron H. Duncan.  This marriage was held on Wednesday Sept. 8, 1926 in Glendale, CA .  I would like to return these to this family, if possible. Many Thanks, Judy in TX

It looks like it reads March 23 instead of 29. Hope this helps

    3. Pam, Have you ordered death certificates from CA? The one I ordered was quite helpful although I am still looking for that elusive obit. Los Angeles seems to be quite difficult in that respect. Usually one writes to a local genealogy society for help in getting obits...but that doesn't seem to be the case in Los Angeles? 1. [CALOSANG] Obits needed
    2. Thanks everyone for the suggestions on finding obits. These 2 individuals are not on Find A Grave (already checked). Not sure if the library closest to me has Pro Quest. I do not know where they lived - other than according to the CA Death Index they died in Los Angeles. The two people I am trying to find obits for are as follows: 1. Robert Knox Pierson - D/O/D - 12-17-1949 - Los Angeles 2. Katherine Elizabeth (Evans) Boyle - D/O/D - 1-26-1952 - Los Angeles (Katherine was the mother of the well known writer and novelist Kay Boyle!) I do understand that one needs to know where a person lived to write to that library - but I do not have that info, and thus my confusion about where to write to for the info. Los Angeles seems to be quite difficult in that respect. Usually one writes to a local genealogy society for help in getting obits...but that doesn't seem to be the case in Los Angeles? Not that easy. I tried looking in City Directories as well-couldn't find them..but I believe both of them may have been living with other relatives. Thank you for any help! Pam
