Could someone out there please tell me what happened to the "Tree's" of Peter and William Callaway that were on this web site? I went there recently to show a cousin some information and there weren't any tree's. Thanks. Linda Sharp Smith "Wealth is not measured by what you have, but by what you have given away". I wanted to contact each and everyone about our coming reunion in Winston-Salem. You probably already know that another great time is planned. Have you told your friends and neighbors...... or even your relatives? :-) We are attempting to get an accurate count of who is planning to be with us.... If you have not registered yet, take a minute now....... send a message pronto to Gene Ray MrGray@worldnet.att.net or PrPete@aol.com or me ADanielKid@aol.com The reunion promises to be interesting and educational AND a chance to meet many "cousins" that enjoy the same things you do. Most important is that this part of North Carolina is a genealogist/historians delight whether you are a Boone or not! Haven't posted this in a while so will try again. Does anyone have a Phebe Calloway(Callaway or Calaway) in their linage. Phebe was born in S.C. and lived in either Spartanburg or Pendleton districts. She married John Tate and they moved to Georgia before 1816. She may have been married to a Pearson before she married John Tate and may have had 3 Pearson children, all boys. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Luan

Hi, I have a question regarding something I read on the census. What does EWF mean? Does it have anything do with religion on birth place? or race? A while ago I read in a dictionary that it had something to do with the war? If anybody can help me understand what it means. see attached census for 1850 Delaware Look at the line of Luther Callaway, all the way to the right, you will see EWF. Thanks, Suny :)
From: <sunybunny@webtv.net> Still looking > for families from Delaware/Kent area. Also researching Isaac Callaway > family from Maryand. Son of John, who was son of Peter(1) from MD. Hi everybody out there, I just figured its been too quiet for too long. I just wanted to thank everybody for their responses to my research on the Callaway Family. I have to still email alot of you back out there (I didn't forget), I just don't have much time on my hands. Still looking for families from Delaware/Kent area. Also researching Isaac Callaway family from Maryand. Son of John, who was son of Peter(1) from MD. I am looking for any descendants from Isaac's line. I have information regarding a will/probate for him in the year 1768. Well that is enough for now, so thanks again to all who responded. Suny,
...lost, dead or divorced - I don't know! Does any one know what happened to Sarena (Sirona? Rosana?) Tolbert CALLOWAY (wife of George Calloway; she was born abt 1856, married George Calloway in 1876 in Stanly County NC, and died before 1899, either in Stanly or Cabarrus County.) She was a native of Montgomery County, NC. I'm hoping that some one out there has a cemetery listing for her in a Stanly County Cemetery. Also missing is ANNIE CALLOWAY (wife of Walter Monroe Calloway; she born abt. 1890, married in 1907, divorced or died around 1911)? She was probably a Cabarrus County NC native. I have a feeling that she was divorced from Walter, but that's just a feeling. Funny (?) how these Calloway wives seem to drop out of sight. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I posted this a few months ago, but it's time to try again!

Hi, I like to thank everybody for responding to my email earlier tonight. I am currently working with another writer and a researcher/society member in hopes of turning our book into a historical movie. It should be very interesting to those seeking a better understanding of the colonial times. I still have much to do in my research. Still looking for any relatives/ancestors of ALL Callaways from Kent, Delaware. If you are branched from Edmund & Peter and so on, email me. We have many names and familys that need connecting. We are also looking for any information on the family of Luther Callaway. Our records show that he was in the civil war, and wounded. He lived for many years , disabled yet honorable man. This piece is very interesting surrounding how others fought in the civil war against their own cousins! So we would be glad to converse with others about all families relating to the colonial times to the civil war times.....to the? Well that is for another time...... Thankyou, Suny sunybunny@webtv.net
