Here is the information I have Harriet Amanda's father and grandfather and grandmother: Charles CALHOUN b. 26 March 1802 in York, PA was the son of Andrew CALHOUN b. approx 1760?? married to Anna Maria FORD b. 1770 in York, PA. Andrew was a private in the Revolutionary and Indian Wars; Anna Maria, known as Mary, was the daughter of Peter FORD, also of York, PA. At the moment, I don't have more information on Thomas Stevenson CALHOON's lineage. I do know that he was a reasonably well known riverboat Captain in western Pennsylvania, that he was orphaned at a young age, and was raised by his uncle, Richard CALHOON.
