Just joined the List. We are just about to give up, but the Calhoun Motto is "If I can" so here is one more try. James Calhoun and his wife Nancy were m. in PA. Their first child Frances F. Calhoun was b. in PA (she m. Robert Lester) and the rest of the family was b. in Daviess Co., IN. I am a descendant of Robert C. B. Calhoun who was b. in Sept. 1822 in Daviess Co., IN and Eliza Goodman, they married, had children and lived in Vigo Co., IN. We read in the Orval Calhoun Vol. III, that he was the son of John Calhoun and Ann Finton and this family was from Allegheny Co., PA. Is there anyone out there working on this family.
