Orem, UT: Ancestry, Inc., 1999-2000 can be searched free at <http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/inddbs/4125.htm> The site says: Becoming the sixteenth state in 1796, Tennessee was home to over one million residents before the American Civil War. This database is a collection of marriage records from the state between 1851 and 1900. This update adds marriages from Warren County between 1852 and 1900. Researchers will find the names of both bride and groom along with the marriage date. The county where the ceremony was performed is also provided. Containing over 64,000 records and the names of about 132,000 men and women, this collection can be a tremendous aid to those seeking ancestors from the area. Extended Description: Warren County marriage records were taken from county court records located at Wartburg, Tennessee. Microfilm copies of these records can be found at the Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah (FHL # 0978841). On a search for Cahoon, I 0 results, and the same with Cohoon. Calhoon yielded 6 results, Calhoun 25, Colquhoun 0. There were 8 Cowin, 23 Cowen, and 99 Cowan marriages. Happy hunting! Valorie
