    3. For what it's worth, I can only add a ditto to part of this. I can't speak about the Calhoun side of this information, but any reference to a "Lady Judith Hamilton" has not, to my knowledge, been substantiated by original sources. I have inquired repeatedly on the Hamilton list regarding proof that this "Lady Judith" even existed and have, to date, found/received nothing except for repeated references to a suspect, secondary source, which, to my knowledge, does not offer citations of any kind. Everyone interested in this lineage would be wise to not accept as "fact" information that does not/cannot offer original source documentation as proof.
