Calhoun who was born ca 1803 died 1846 in Wright Co., Missouri. He is the the son of William Calhoun who was a 2nd cousin of John C. Calhoun. James H. C. Calhoun and Barbary Pence were married in Alabama, Madison Co. They are my ggggrandparents, their daughter Mary married William Heatherly, and their daughter Caroline married William Hatfield in Douglas Co., Missouri.
