TOM: Read with interest your communication to CALHOUN-L about the children of Andrew Colhoun. My great-grandmother was Susan Davison Calhoun [1/11/1844-1/28/1922], who married William T. McElroy in Washington Co. KY. Susan was the daughter of James P. [Parker???] Calhoun [12/5/1800-9/6/1875]. Passed down to me from grandmother McElroy are a pair of photographs of John C. and Margaret Calhoun, who she identified as my ggg-grandparents. I have not yet been able to document a connection between James P. Calhoun and John/Margaret, other than family lore, nor do I know anything more about John and Margaret. Could this John be the child of Andrew Colhoun whom you listed?
