    1. [CALASSEN] Re: Abram Blazier
    2. I found an Abram Blazier and Susan Caroline Williams who were married in Lake County in 1867. I have a great deal of information on the Williams family and am glad to share it. Abram was a saloonkeeper in Kelsey City (now Kelsyville, CA) at the time of their marriage. Susan had not reached the age of majority in 1867. They left Lake County the same year, but the recorder in Lake County did not name the next County of voter registration. I have been trying to put pieces of this puzzle together for several years. Susan's siblings are Sarina (Rena), Francis, Eliza, William W. and John Thomas. Married names of her sisters include: Parks (Eliza), Goodrum, McClendon, Hensley, Johnson Susan's mother was Lucinda Hudspeth Williams. She married her father, James Madison Wlliams in Missouri in 1841. Lucinda died in San Joaquin County in 1862. It is possible she died of the consequences of childbirth with her infant son, David. The famliy moved to Lake sounty in aobut 1863-1864. Details in Lake County are sketchy because the courthouse burned in February of 1867. Most of the family (including Eliza) moved to Butte County in 1869, but I have not found any trace of Abram there. Does this sound compatible with your query??
