In the name of God, Aman. I, J.H.Davis of Janesville, Lassen County, California, of the age of 67 years, and being of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not acting under duress, fraud or undue influences of any person whatever, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, in the manner following, that is to say: 1. I give, devise and bequeth all my estate, real, personal and mixed of every nature, kind and description of which I may die seized or possessed of to my wife, Matilda Davis. 2. I nominate constiture and appoint my wife, Matilda Davis, as executrix of this my last will and testament, and direct and request that no bond be required of her as such executrix. 3. I give to my said executrix full power to sell, without application to the court, any and all of my said property, whether real or personal and to use the proceeds as she may deem best. 4. I recognise that my heirs apart from my wife are Basil L. Davis, Opal Garrett, Blanch Decious, Irene Staiglitz, Winnie Hersey and Myron Eugene Davis, son of my deceased son, Norman Eugene Davis. The above named heirs are my children, except Myron Eugene Davis, and are the children of my wife. The reason I do not provide for them in this will is that I feel that my wife wil make any necessary provisions for them or any of them, and that I can rely absolutely upon her doing so, and I further feel that all of said children, except Myron Eugene Davis, are grown and self supporting, and that my wife needs support. 5. I declare that all the estate, whereof I may die possessed, is community property of my wife, Matilda Davis, and myself. July 2,1930 John Henry was the son of Joseph and Allie Ratcliff Davis.
