Carmichael wife was Aluna Elizabeth Dowell. His father was Moses A. Carmichael. His mother was Martha Jane Gordon. Her father was Frances M. Dowell. Her mother was Mary Anne Wynecoop. Moses ran a large sawmill outside of Beiber Modoc County.Also Hiram S. Brown/Catherine Wheeler family. Hiram's father was James David. I do not know who Catherine's parents are. Hiram's first wife was Martha Gentle. It is family tradition that the wives where first cousins. If you are looking for any of these families contact me I will share what I have.
