He was born on December 12, 1883 in Red Bluff, Tehama County, California. He was raised by his grandmother, Susan Francis Van Landingham Hatield. He may have been married to Callamae and had two or three children. He lived in Bieber, Lassen County and worked in a saw mill in Susanville. He was also known by the name "Frenchy." I am looking for any information - date of marriage, death, children, wife and place of burial. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
