He owned land in both Shasta and Lassen Counties. He was not in Shasta Co according to the 1870 census. SO, I need someone to check the Lassen Co 1870 census to see if he was there His wife was named Martha He had 3 children Charles, Mary,and Anne (Annie) He had homestead land according to the BLM records and I do have the location. Perhaps he was there during the census.
