Madruga, 68, 803 South Chester Ave., who died Aug. 13. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Francis Church with the Very Rev. Msgr. Patrick A. Leddy officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Union Cemetery. The deceased was a native of the Azores and had lived in Kern County for 35 years. He farmed in the Greenfield District until his retirement in 1955. Survivors include his widow, Rosalina P. Madruga; two sons, Joseph J. and Francis M. Madruga, both of Bakersfield; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Rosalyn Schulz of San Luis Obispo; seven grandchildren and a brother, Antonio S. Madruga of Bakersfield.
