Silva was a native of the Azores Islands and came to the United States 63 years ago. He had been a rancher in the Visalia district for many years. Silva's body was brought to Visalia by the Hadley Chapel. Rosary will be said at the chapel at 7 p.m. tomorrow and funeral services will be held from St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Monday with burial in the Catholic Cemetery. Survivors include three sons, M. P. Silva of Los Angeles, G. P. Silva of Visalia, Frank P. Silva of Redland; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Shear of Los Angeles, Mrs. Rose Lena Madruga of Bakersfield and Miss Isabelle Silva of Bakersfield; and one brother, Frank P. Silva of Humboldt County.
