He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mojave Hospital at 7:40 a.m. Sunday, May 5. Mr. Shong, a native of Bottineau County, South Dakota, resided a1 3807 West 17th Street in Torrance California. He was employed by the Los Angeles County School System as a tool sharpener. Marianne C Shong, his wife survives him. Mr. Shong was a veteran of World War II. Graveside services will be at Inglewood Memorial Park.
