PAXTON 1920-2005 Longtime Ridgecrest resident Margaret S. Paxton passed away Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. She was 85. Services will be private. Ms. Paxton was born Jan. 26, 1920 in Ayshire, Scotland. She met her former husband Robert Paxton in Scotland when he was serving there in the US military. They moved to Ridgecrest in 1946. She traveled back to Scotland a couple of times during her life. She was a member of the British Club of Ridgecrest, had a good sense of humor and a vivacious personality. She loved her family and grandchildren and took care of her son Peter. Ms. Paxton was preceded in death by her brothers Willy and Peter McBride. She is survived by two sons Robert Paxton II and Peter Paxton of Ridgecrest, daughter Heather Baird of Sourlake, Texas, grandchildren Sharlene Paxton, Lisa Van Skike and husband David, Robert Paxton III, Kimberly Paxton, Patricia Woods and Justin Vaughn and one great-grandchild.
