Apparently the young man took his own life, according to deputy coroner R. P. Jervais and sheriff's deputy Stan Osborn. ' He was born April 17, 1928 in Cornwell, Okla. and had been a resident of Boron for 2 1/2 years, also an employee of P. C. B. as a firer. Survivors include his widow, Virginia, one son, Clu Van; a daughter, Rose Marie; his mother, 5 brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at Boron Assembly of God Church on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. with arrangements in charge of O'Donnell Funeral Home of Mojave. Rev. W. L. Ttavis will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery in Barstow, California.
