HOGUE 1947-2005 Terry W. Hogue, 57 of Medford, passed away Friday, April 29, 2005 while on a cruise to the Panama Canal. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 2 pm at the First Nazarene Church in Medford. Pastor David Grinder officiated. Interment will take place at Eagle Point National Cemetery in a private service. Mr. Hogue was born Oct. 25, 1947 in Burbank to Edwin and Billie (White) Hogue. He was raised in China Lake and attended and graduated from Burroughs High School in 1965. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the US Marine Corps from 1965 to 1968 where he achieved the rank of sergeant. In 1969 he married the former Sharon Mouw in Lakewood who survives him. In 1977 the family moved to Medford from Cerritos. Mr. Hogue was employed with Pacific Power as a lineman and foreman. He was an avid sports fan, a 49'er fan and had coached girls Little League softball. He enjoyed all women's sporting events. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers No. 659. Terry especially enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Traci Thomas and her husband Jeff, Tamara Ilten and her husband Erick, all of Medford, brother Danny Hogue of Palm Desert, father Edwin Hogue of Medford, and five grandchildren Sydney, Sarah, Gabriel, Jacob and Asher, all of Medford. He was preceded in death by his mother Billie (White) Hogue. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit of Rogue Valley Medical Center, 2825 E. Barnett Road, Medford, OR 97504 or to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1974 E. McAndres Road, Medford OR 97504. Arrangements were made by Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives.
