Betty was born Aug. 29, 1931, in Acme, Texas, but was raised and spent most of her 57 years in Bakersfield. On March 5, 1950, she married her Life-Mate Robert W. "Bob" Noyes. Their 39 years together was her "Life". Betty was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ latter Day Saint - 7th Ward where she served on the Relief Society and gave many hours of her time to help others in time of need. She will be best remembered for the countless hours spanning over 8 years of loving and mothering some 24 babies of which she and Bob kept as Foster-Parents prior to having 6 Grandchildren of their own. Betty is survived by her most loving and devoted husband Bob Noyes, Son, David Noyes and wife Lori. Daughter Debbie Lyle-Noyes, Mother Eunice Smith. Sisters Evelyn Naylor and Kay VanSant. Grandchildren Christine and Christopher Noyes, Betty Joy, Carrah and Sarrah Lyle and her beloved Jason Stockton-Noyes and numerous other close and dear friends and relatives. Services are scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday the 22nd at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road. Viewing 12 noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday the 21st. We all loved you "Betts."
