Mrs. Samantha Jane Wilson, age 86 died at 2:30 a. m. on the morning of last Thursday. Born in Frankston, Texas, Mrs. Wilson had resided in Mojave since 1944 in her home at 15717 L Street. Her daughter, Ruth L. Ray lived with her. Besides Mrs. Ray, there are five sons surviving Mrs. Wilson; Leonard H. Ray in Michigan; Fred Ray in Texas, Henry A. Wilson in Oklahoma, as well as two sons in Mojave, Charles F. Wilson and William O. Wilson. Two brothers, Willis Montgomery of Arizona and Dock Montgomery in Texas also survive Mrs. Wilson besides one sister, Sarah Morgan in Texas, Services were held last Saturday at the O'Donnell Funeral Chapel at 1:30 with Mrs. Gipes of the Johovah witness' (sic) officiating and Rachel Hodges was soloist.
