She was 52. A memorial service is set for 2 pm April 30 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 613 E. Church St. William Johnston will officiate. Mrs. Cohen was born May 11, 1952 in Tehachapi. She resided in Ridgecrest since 2002 and was a previous resident of Bakersfield. She was an Evangelizer of Jehovah and was very active in the Ministry for Jehovah. She is survived by her husband of four months Stephen P. Cohen of Ridgecrest, sons Ramone Cranston of Bakersfield, Anthony Alvarado of Bakersfield and Michael Asher of Bakersfield, daughters Jessica Sibley of Ridgecrest and Megan Asher of Ridgecrest, mother Jesusa Ramirez of Tehachapi, sister Maria Zimmerman of Ridgecrest, brother Jesse Ramirez of Bakersfield and four grandchildren.
