Interment will follow in Arvin District Cemetery. Williams, born in Texas, is survived by her sons James R. and Bill Murphy of Bakersfield, her daughters, Elizabeth Pierce of Bakersfield, Roberta Floyd of Lamont, Ruby Scheckel of Bakersfield, Janice Thurman of Bakersfield, Ruth St?k of Wyoming. Linda Payne of Marysville, and Rhonda Nickerson of Bakersfield, 31 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; her brothers Wyan Hayes of Oklahoma, Hank Hayes of New York, a stepbrother Oscar Peters of Lathrop and two sisters Billie Downs of Oklahoma and R. Della DeWitt of Stockton. Visitation has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 1 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and from 6 - 8 p.m. in the evening.
