Classification: Death Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JW.2ADE/8120 Message Board Post: Man Electrocuted In Accident Orval O'Dell Moody 37, of Van Nuys was electrocuted last Thursday morning in a field 20 mile east of Mojave. Coroner Stanley Newman said the accident occurred when the unfortunate man was moving a section of aluminum irrigation pipe and it came in contact with a power line directly overhead, causing a fatal shock. Moody was brought to the Mojave Medical Center by two fellow workmen but was pronounced deal on arrival. The body was removed to the O'Donnell Funeral Home where an inquest was held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15. The body was shipped to Holdenville, Oklahoma, for services on March 18, 1957.
