She had been a resident of the community of Sand Canyon for the past 64 years, since 1892. A prayer service was held Wednesday, July 3rd at the Tehachapi Catholic Church, Father Eggert officiating, with interment being in the. Sand Canyon Cemetery. Mrs. Willie is survived by her daughter, Bertha Goings and a son Raymond Willie, both of whom reside in Monolith and one sister, Rosie Hicks.
