Sunday, August 12 after sustaining fatal injuries in a non collision auto accident. According to highway patrol officers, Starling was fatally injured Saturday at 11.30 p. m. when the pick-up he was driving rolled over after a tire blew out. Scene of the accident was 20 miles east of Mojave on Hwy. 466. The body was removed to O'Donnell Funeral Home and later shipped to San Jose for services.
