He was 71. Services will be private. Mr. Young was born Nov. 13, 1933 in Phoenix, Ariz. He served in the US Navy and was a Korean War Veteran. He worked as a sheet metal worker before his retirment. He lived in Reno, Nev. prior to moving to Ridgecrest four years ago. His family says this about him: "Bud loved gardenig, fishing and bird hunting. He was a great kidder who truly enjoyed life. He will be missed by all." He is survived by his wife Barbara C. Young of Ridgecrest, son Steven Young of Reno, Nev., son Leonard Long of Tacoma, Wash., daughter Karen Dengey of Reno, Nev., six grandchildren and three great-grandchidren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Private cremation, arrangements and media information provided by Holland & Lyons Mortuary.
