He leaves his wife Dorothy of 53 years at the family home in Tehachapi. He served four years in the Marine Corps and belonged to Operating Engineers 55 years. He leaves three children: John of Lancaster, Linda Adler of Sequim, Wash. and Deborah Willis of Simi Valley. He had three grandchildren: Traci Frankut and Dustin and Danny Veneklasen. He also leaves two sisters, Pearl Nelson of Lake Norden, S.D. and Rose Kancir of Denver, Colo.; and one brother, Robert, of Las Vegas, Nev. He loved fishing, hunting and gardening.
