I searched CADI at rootsweb, leaving the name out entirely and searching only for individuals who were born TX 1917 and died Kern 1973. Only five matches came up, and Katherine was among them. If you wonder why she didn't come up in your search, note that her name is indexed with the final "e" is missing from her given name.
