He is the brother of my ancestor James Madison Dover. The last time I find Jesse Dover on a Census is in 1900 when he is 62 years old and he is living with his brother James. I don't find him on the 1905 California death index so I assume he died between 1900 and 1905. Anyone have a source to look up deaths in Kern during this time period?
