He was 52. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 26 at 1 pm at Immanuel Baptist Church Worship Center. Pastor Bill Logan of Immanuel Baptist and Pastor Mark Godfrey of Desert Christian Center will officiate. Private burial will be at Desert Memorial Park. Mr. Helm was born July 12, 1952 in Chicago, Ill. He moved to Ridgecrest in 1975 and opened the Bread of Life Christian Book Store on March 1, 1977. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. His hobbies revolved around his dogs and traveling by car. He was preceded in death by his siter Shirley Helm and brother Tony Helm. He is survived by his wife Patricia S. Hadjes-Helm of Ridgecrest, brothers Roger Helm of Ridgecrest, Charles Helm of Dublin, Ky., Larry Helm of Paducah, Ky. and David Helm of Fancy Farm, Ky., sisters Linda Toon and Janet Wilson of Mayfield, Ky., step-son Edward Hadjes of Tacoma, Wash., step-daughter Diana Hadjes of Santa Barbara and two grandchildren.
