Rev. Steve Fast will officiate. Mr. Strauss was a native of Ohio and had resided in Kern County 60 years. He was a carpenter and was last employed in maintenance at Greeley Schools. Survivors include his wife, Bertha Strauss of Bakersfield; son and daughter-in-law Levi J. and Clara Strauss of Idaho Falls, Idaho; daughter and son-in-law, Velda and Allan Warner of Renton, Washington; daughter, Joanne Rude of Boulder Creek, CA; seven grandchildren and sister-in-law, Suzanne Strauss of Oregon.
