Classification: Death Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JW.2ADE/7892 Message Board Post: List Death As Probable Suicide A coroner's inquest held at the O'Donnell Funeral Home in Mojave on Wednesday of this week, declared the death of Fulgencio Gorrindo, 67, on Monday, to be probable suicide. Deputy Coroner Ross H. Jones was in charge. Mr. Gorrindo's body was grappled from the depths of a reservoir on the Gorrindo ranch 8 miles southwest of Rosamond and just inside the Kern County line. Reason for the. apparent suicide was given as failing health. The man had tied two hay baler gears around his neck before jumping into the reservoir, according to a report filed by Sheriff's Deputy F. R.Nelson of the Mojave substation. He was born in Spain and had been living with his brother on the ranch for the past three months. Officers were called when he didn't appear for breakfast and the family became alarmed. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at the Mumaw Funeral Home in Lancaster with interment in Joshua Memorial Park.
