She was 89. Mrs. Hill was born March 21, 1916 in Indiana, moving to Ridgecrest in the mid 1940s. When her husband retired from China Lake Naval Weapons Center they moved to Burlington, Wash. Edith enjoyed knitting, ceramics, bowling and golf. Her greatest accomplishment was being a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family has this to say about her: "Gabriel blew his trumpet again and took her home to be with her husband and daughter." She was preceded in death by her husband Everett Hill and daughter Elaine Fine. She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law Gerald and Barbara Senn, son-in-law Don Fine, grandchildren Cathy and Larry Spitser, Don and Mary Fine, Jim and Christie Fine, Jeludiel and Mary Ann Araiza, David and Elaine Cook, Jerry and Beth Senn as well as numerous great-grandchildren all who will miss her dearly.
