BYRNE 1933-2005 John A. Byrne of Gatlinburg, Tenn. passed away Tuesday Feb. 8, 2005. He was 72. Funeral services were held at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Gatlinburg, Tenn with Pastor Arne Walker officiating. Interment was in Smokey Mountain Memory Gardens. Mr. Byrne was born Jan. 25, 1933 in Chicago, Ill. He lived a full life and worked at a machine shop in Chicago area until retirement. He also enjoyed woodworking, researching physical evidence of the Bible and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. "We love you, Dad." He was preceded in death by his daughters Linda and Cynthia. He is survived by his wife Arlene "Linda" Byrne of Gatlinburg, Tenn., sons John A. Byrne II of Ridgecrest, Timothy Byrne of Ridgecrest, Mark Byrne of Ridgecrest, Paul Byrne of Knoxville, Tenn. and Christopher Byrne of Gatlinburg, Tenn., daughters Debra Hoagland of Port Wing, Wis., Kathleen Lindelof of Eden Prarie, Minn., and Bethanna Byrne of Gatlinburg, Tenn., 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
