Smith, 74, who died May 25. The Rev. David G. Joyner of Liberty Christian Center will officiate. Mr. Smith was a 37-year resident of Kern County and was last employed at San Joaquin Cotton Oil Co. Survivors include the widow, Eunice, 2 daughters, Evelyn Naylor and Betty Noyes of Bakersfield; 5 brothers, Ted of Childress, Tex., Glenn of Houston, Gordon of Albuquerque, NM, Durward of Fresno and Lester of Dallas, 2 sisters, Mae Hawkins of Muleshoe, Tex., and Bobbie Daughtery of Dallas, 2 grandsons and a granddaughter.
