KREIDEL Former longtime Ridgecrest resident Joyce A. Kreidel passed away Saturday Mar. 5, 2005 in Las Vegas following a prolonged illness. She was 71. A memorial service will be held at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Nev., Friday, Mar. 11 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her memory be made to the American Heart Association. Mrs. Kreidel was born Mar. 23, 1933 in Greenwood, Neb. She and her husband John C. Kreidel were longtime residents of Ridgecrest prior to moving to Las Vegas, Nev. She was a longtime member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, the Fleet Reserve and donated much of her time preparing food baskets for the needy and disabled veterans during the holidays. She is survived by her husband John C. Kreidel Sr. of Las Vegas, Nev., daughter Debbie Harper of Las Vegas, Nev., son John C. Kreidel Jr. of Chattanooga, Tenn., son and daughter-in-law David A. and Sue Kreidel of Ridgecrest, son Jeff W. Kreidel of Las Vegas, Nev., brother Bob Ellyson of Lincoln, Neb., sister Doris Sandell of Lincoln, Neb., nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many friends.
