A viewing for Mr. Gee was held at Parkway Christian Center and services were led by Pastor Dennis Webber. Interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 28 Honor Guard. Gee was born July 24, 1948 in Los Angeles and grew up near the Naval Weapons Center China Lake. He attended UCLA and other colleges in the Los Angeles area. He worked as an engineer for Siemens Rolm communications in San Ramon. He also served in the California National Guard, State Military Reserve and retired in 2004 with the rank of major. On April 10, 1982 he married Dianne Jacques in Los Altos. The couple moved to Grants Pass in June 2002 from Danville. He was a volunteer with emergency in both Josephine and Contra Costa Counties and was a member of the Rogue Valley Harmonizers, the Western Welcome Newcomers, the Academy of Model Aeronautics and several other model airplane clubs. He also enjoyed amateur radio. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Tiffany A. Whysong of Sacramento, borther Larry Gee of Diamond Bar and a granddaughter.
