Jones Chapel in Wasco for Daniel Strauss, 51, who died at his home, 18474 Shafter Ave., Shafter, Nov. 26. Interment will be in Shafter Cemetery. Strauss, a native of South Dakota, had lived in Shafter 34 years. He was a mechanic by trade. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Strauss; two sisters, Mrs. Alvena Howe and Mrs. Elizabeth Zimmerman, all of Shafter and a brother, John Strauss of Eureka.
