She was 48. A memorial service will be held at Holland & Lyons Chapel on Saturday May 28 at 10 am. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who have come to know and love this very warm and giving person. She adored her grandchildren and spent as much time as possible with them. As an escrow officer at First American Title Company she took great pride in her work of helping people make their dreams of owning their own home come true. Those she helped will always remember her happy, friendly face and her amazing ability to make the most complex documents understandable. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Clark. She is survived by her mother Wanda Lee Clark, two sisters Linda Minshew and Karen McNamara, two brothers William Clark and Robert Clark and Robert's partner Mikki Wantanabe, Laurie's partner of 20 years Sandra J. Davis, daughter Modina Nyholm, son Kenneth Nyholm, two beloved grandchildren Allysa and James Koos, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, also her close friend of many years Terry Springstead. Her partner and family have requested that memorial donations be made to The American Liver Foundation, 75 Maiden Lane, Suite 603, New York, NY 10038.
