Mrs. Perry was born Oct. 25, 1914 in Hollywood to Harold and Inez Moodie. She was married to Robert Charles Perry in Glendale on June 14, 1935. For many years they lived in the Simi Valley area where she enjoyed being a homemaker and was devoted to her family. She served as president of the Simi Valley Women’s Club. Mrs. Perry was a talented artist and an avid painter with oils. She and her husband enjoyed travel up and down the Pacific coast, as well as in Alaska and Hawaii. They moved to Tehachapi in 1983 to be close to her family. She was a member of the Bear Valley Springs Women’s Club. Mrs. Perry is survived by her sons, Richard Perry and wife Marie of Lancaster and Christopher Perry of Rosamond; daughters, Kathleen Herman of Tehachapi and Carole Hildreth and husband Jerry of Bear Valley Springs; daughter-in-law, Barbara Perry; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Perry, in 1993. Interment will follow at the Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth. Wood Family Funeral Service handled he arrangements.
