He was 60. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 2 at 11 am at Holland & Lyons Chapel. Family and friends will gather at his daughter's house to share memories after the service. Mr. Tarwater was a construction engineer by trade. He poured concrete from every boundry in the city of Ridgecrest. There was not a street in Ridgecrest that did not show his workmanship. His family says this about him: "He never met a stranger, they were always a friend. He touched so many people's lives with a winning smile, a great sense of humor and a song from his heart. He will be dearly missed by everyoe he knew." The Tarwater family reuests flowers or contributions to the family. He was preceded in death by his mother Bernice Dill, father Edward Tarwater and grandson Talon Moore. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 years Leilani Tarwater of Ridgecrest, two daughters Celeste Wood of Staffordshire, England and Jeneene Conway of Ridgecrest, son Marcus Tarwater of Oklahoma, two granddaughters Ashley Hartley of Fort Collins, Colo., and Morgan Sloan Moore of Staffordshire, England, three sisters Lilly Nunlee of Oklahoma, Edeana Weinke of Oklahoma and Terri Carra of Missouri and two brothers Elec Tarwater of Missouri and Everett Dill of Oklahoma.
