The Round Valley in this article was apparently in Inyo Co. BUT, my husband told me that he remembers hearing a story that Albert got put in jail in the town of Kern for this. Now, Lake Isabella (?) is over where the jail used to be? I believe this happened more than once in Kern Co. Is Lake Isabella where a town used to be? And if so, when did they make the lake? It might help me start building a timeline. Thanks so much! Sorry for the confusion.
