She is most certainly dead by now. I have suggested that you check the California Death Index which the state of California has made from the death certificates issued since July 1905 and see when and where she died. The Calif. Death Index is available online. It is free and easy to use. A volunteer can then have enough information to check for an obituary notice. An obit might give the names of surviving siblings, children, etc. and their towns of residence. Once again, here is the URL (address) for the online Calif.
