She was not quite 2. Visitation will be Friday, May 20 from 6 to 8 pm at Parowan Mortuary in Parowan, Utah. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 21 at 10 am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cedar City, Utah. Burial will be in Parowan City Cemetery. A memorial service will be held in Ridgecrest at a later date. Her family says this about her: "Our precious angel, who has been called home to the arms of her Heavenly Father, will be missed deeply by all family and friends. She was a gift from God who brought great joy to us and blessed us every moment she was with us. She touched the hearts of those who knew her and those who didn't. She meant so much to so many and taught us the true meaning of love and happiness during her brieft stay on earth. "Two smiling eyes are sleeping, two busy hands are still. The one we love so deeply is resting at God's will. May she always walk in sunshine. God's love around her glow. For all the happiness she gave us, only a few will ever know. It broke our hearts to lose her but she did not go alone. For part of us wnet with her the day God called her home." The family requests contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 S. St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Joseph and Ruby Matheson. She is survived by her parents Marc and July Pepi of Ridgecrest, two brothers Cameron and P.J. Pepi of Ridgecrest, grandparents Joseph Bevan and Julie Matheson of Parowan, Utah, grandparents Paul and Florrie Pepi of Chattanooga, Tenn., great-grandparents Irving and Mildred Brem of Chattanooga, Tennn., aunt and uncle SFC Renato and Tracey Matheson of Cedar City, Utah - Renato is stationed at Ft. Irwin with the 222nd Field Artillery Battalion, preparing for deployment to Iraq - cousins Elliott and Olivia Matheson of Cedar City, Utah, uncle J. Baby Girl Dies in Drowning Accident A 21 month old girl drowned in her family's swimming pool in Ridgecrest on Saturday. According to the Ridgecrest Police Department the little girl got into the pool unnoticed and was found unconscious by family members who called for help shortly after 6 pm. Police officers were first on the scene and administred CPR a department spokesperson said. They continued until paramedics arrived and took over. The paramedics transported the girl to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The little girl has since been identified as Hannah Teresa Pepi daughter of Marc and Julie Pepi of Ridgecrest. A funeral service for Hannah will be held Saturday May 21 at 10 am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cedar City, Utah. Visitation will be held Friday May 20 at 6 pm at Parowan Mortuary. She will be buried in Parowan City Cemetery in Parowan, Utah. A memorial service will follow in Ridgecrest, details will be announced later.
