Again your queried: And if so, when did they make the lake? It might help me start building a timeline. My reply: The Lake was created in 1953. There is a 'New' Kernville thriving on the banks of Lake Isabella now. Sometimes, though, you can still visit the old foundations of the 'old' Kernville buildings if the water level is low enough.
