I just recently got a birth certificate for Rosalyn Soares and Howard Arthur SCHULZ's daughter and in 1954 Roslyn was 32 so would have been born about 1922. The Soares, Silva and Madruga families appear to be in Tulare Co in 1917 to 1923 at least then move to Kern Co. I find in 1930 Adobe Precinct, Kern Co., CA census ED 64 Joe S. Madrugh (this is really Madruga) age 38 1st wed at age 31, a farmer born in Azores islands wife Rosalina Madrugh age 29 1st wed age 20 born Azores Islands step dau Rosalin Soares age 8 b CA step dau Helen Soares age 7 b CA son Frances Madrugh age 7 b CA father-in-law Mabuel Silva age 74, wd, born Azores Islands I found in CA birth index: Rosalie P. Soares b 17 Feb 1922 Tulare Co, mother's maiden name = Silva Helen Soares b 8 Apr 1923 in Tulare Co, mother's maiden name = Silva. I also found on 1920 Tipton Twp, Tulare Co Joe S. Madruga age 28, emigrated 1913, b Portugal brother Antone S. Madruga, emigrated 1905, b Portugal sister-in-law Mary Madruga age 24 b CA niece Mary age 6 b CA niece Isabel age 4 b CA niece Adeline age 1 yr and 7 months b CA cousin Antonio Munis age 28 emigrasted 1913, b Portugal cousin Laura Munis age 18 b CA Seek to prove that Roslin Soares, step dau of Joe Madruga is the woman who wed Howard Arthur Schulz and had 2 children in Los Angeles Co in 1948 and 1954.
