The Rev. Ralph L. Gardner of the First Southern Baptist Church, Shafter will officiate, and burial will follow in Shafter Memorial Park. Mr. Davis was born in Tennessee and came to Shafter in 1948. Before his retirement he worked as a gardener. Survivors include the widow, Dora A.; three sons, O. V. of Bakersfield, E. H. of Shafter, and J. H. of Dallas, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Kennedy of Carlsbad, N. M.; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sharon Kern Co. Volunteer
