Judie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She lived all her life in Bakersfield and had many wonderful friends. She was an avid bridge player and loved classical music. Judie was a wonderful cook and took great pleasure in sharing her talent with family and friends. Judie is survived by her husband Wade of 43 years; daughters Trish Burtchaell and husband John, Laura Tate and husband Jerry, Kelly Bailey and a son Scott Watson; brother Michael Humphrey and grandchildren, Marcee Byrd, Eric Bailey, Blake and Johnny Burtchaell, Nicole and Sarah Watson. A special thanks to the nurses at Southwest Cancer Center, Dr. Davis and staff, and Dr. Del Toro and Optimal Hospice. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society or Kern Hospice.
